South Jersey Wedding Florist – Kyle & Brian – Hyatt Key West Resort & Spa (Destination Wedding)

In October of 2015, we successfully conquered our first ever DESTINATION WEDDING! We closed our shop for three days; and traveled down to the picturesque island of sunny Key West, Florida! Special THANK YOU to Nick Doll Photography for these breathtaking shots!

Kyle & Brian came to us almost two years prior to their big day to see if we were willing to travel. After much debate, we were committed to making their wedding more SPECTACULAR than it was already going to be.

They both, along with their groomsmen, wore distinctive succulent boutonnieres. We absolutely loved the way these looked against their classic navy suits.

Such a beautiful group! Their bridesmaids carried bouquets of antiqued Hydrangea’s with an array of greens. The Hydrangea’s were the best we’ve seen! The pop of color went perfectly with their gowns.

Their ceremony and reception were both held at the Hyatt Resort & Spa. This Oceanside retreat is located right on the Gulf of Mexico, overlooking crystal clear, blue water. We honestly have never seen water so blue! It was STUNNING.

The aisle was lined with bouquets of antiqued Hydrangea’s, Seeded Eucalyptus, Ruscus & Silver Dollar Eucalyptus. Each bouquet was also finished with Navy ribbon.

The weather could not have been more perfect!

Now for the best part! Their reception was held in the Marquesa Room on property, and sincerely was one of the most magnificent rooms we have ever seen. Its floor to ceiling windows around the ENTIRE room gave us the perfect view of a legendary Key West sunset!

We incorporated every flower from the bridal parties personal flowers, into the centerpieces. Each one consisted solely of Antiqued Hydrangea’s and Mixed Greens (Seeded & Silver Dollar Eucalyptus). We added Kiwi Vine for more texture, and even strung different types of Succulents from the base of each arrangement.

Simply. Stunning!

Antiqued Hydrangea’s were placed around each centerpiece. Check out the detail! The colors were AMAZING.

They decided to use each bridesmaid bouquet to decorate their head table, along with several ivory votive candles.

This incredible “cake” was done by our dear friends at The Bake Works. It looks too delicious to be fake! Can you believe it!?

Their invitations were even done by another local vendor (Carly Broomhead)! We have never seen this shadowbox design done before! So unique!

Kyle & Brian, it truly was an honor to be a part of your incredible day! Thank you for giving us the opportunity to do something we have never done before! XO
